Dr. Erika Kube is originally from Denver, Colorado. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She became an EMT at the end of college and worked in several Emergency Departments in Vail and Beaver Creek, Colorado. Dr. Kube then moved to Chicago for medical school. She graduated from The Chicago Medical School at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and then moved to Columbus for residency. She did her residency in Emergency Medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center where she became Chief Resident. After completing her residency, she did a year-long Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship. She then began working for Mid-Ohio Emergency Services in numerous Emergency Departments in and around Columbus. She served as the Medical Director for the Hamilton Township Fire Department for several years. She currently is the Medical Director for the Concord Township Fire Department, Morrow County Emergency Medical Services, and the Liberty Township Fire Department. She lives in Liberty Township with her husband Nick who is a Podiatrist and her two children and dog. She loves to travel, hike, ski, and watch her kids play hockey, soccer and dance.
