Mrs. Peggy Guzzo is honored to have the opportunity to represent the residents of Liberty Township. Her passion is to ensure that throughout all deliberations and policy decisions the residents will have an advocate working on their behalf. She was elected to serve January 1, 2006 and is a native to Delaware County. Peggy is a former city Council Member of the City of Powell where she served from 1998-2002. Upon completion of her term, she moved into the unincorporated Liberty Township. Throughout her community service and to this date, she continues to be a strong advocate for parks and recreation, open space, low density, bike paths, responsible and efficient government, and cooperation among the various local neighboring governmental bodies. She has also been instrumental in protecting the rural character and quality of Liberty Township through her involvement with the comprehensive plan for future developments and by empowering the community to protect itself from inappropriate regional retail commercial and high density developments.

Her goals in office are to establish a more efficient, transparent and responsive form of government so as to be accountable to the people of Liberty Township and to protect the welfare and safety of all of the citizens.
