The
current members of the Board of Trustees are:
Mr. Curt Sybert Originally from
Ravenna, Ohio, Curt Sybert received his bachelor's degree from The Ohio
State University in 1983 and went on to graduate from Capital Law School
in 1986. He has been continually practicing law since 1987 and
currently has his office located at 153 S. Liberty Street, Powell,
Ohio. Curt has lived in Liberty Township with his
wife Robin and his daughters Kiersten and Kelsey since 1992. Curt
brings with him years of zoning experience having served Liberty
Township since 1995. More importantly Curt has strong ties to the
southern Delaware County community.
Curt is currently a member of The Ohio
Township Association, The Delaware and Columbus Bar Associations, The
Ohio Bar Association, The Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and in 2004 was
voted by his peers as one of the Top Attorneys in Central Ohio in a
poll taken by Business First.
Curt is proud to serve all the residents of
Liberty Township.

Mrs. Peggy Guzzo
is honored to
have the opportunity to represent the residents of Liberty Township. Her
passion is to ensure that throughout all deliberations and policy
decisions the residents will have an advocate working on their behalf.
She was elected to serve January 1, 2006 and is a native to Delaware
County. Peggy is a former city Council Member of the City of Powell
where she served from 1998-2002. Upon completion of her term, she moved
into the unincorporated Liberty Township. Throughout her community
service and to this date, she continues to be a strong advocate for
parks and recreation, open space, low density, bike paths, responsible
and efficient government, and cooperation among the various local
neighboring governmental bodies. She has also been instrumental in
protecting the rural character and quality of Liberty Township through
her involvement with the comprehensive plan for future developments and
by empowering the community to protect itself from inappropriate
regional retail commercial and high density developments.
Her goals in office
are to establish a more efficient, transparent and responsive form of
government so as to be accountable to the people of Liberty Township and
to protect the welfare and safety of all of the citizens.

Mr.
Robert Mann - Robert ("Bob") J.
Mann is an attorney, admitted to practice in 1988. He graduated from
the Ohio State University College of Law with Honors, and he obtained
his
undergraduate degree from Miami
University (Oxford, Ohio). Bob's practice includes eminent domain,
representing property owners when their land is taken by the
government. Bob also teaches continuing education courses for
attorneys and other professionals in the field of eminent domain.
He has been active in his community and neighborhood, serving
several years as Legal Chairman for the Community Oversight
Foundation, a citizens group dedicated to responsible and responsive
government. He has also served on his neighborhood's Homeowners
Association Board, and has served as an assistant baseball and
basketball coach for the Olentangy Youth Athletic Association. Bob
has been married to his wife Alison since 1987, and their son Ryan
is 12 years old.
Bob believes that government must never forget
that its purpose is to serve the people.

The
current Fiscal Officer is:
Dr.
Mark Gerber -
Mark was born in
St. Paul, Minnesota. After receiving a B.S. in mathematics from
Worcester Polytechnic Institute, he moved to Columbus and earned M.S.
and Ph.D. degrees in nuclear engineering from Ohio State. In 1979, soon
after earning his doctorate, Mark founded a financial analysis and
electricity market price forecasting firm, M.S. Gerber & Associates. He
served as the company's CEO and CFO until he sold the company in 2004 to
an international firm and retired in 2006. He and his wife, Carole, have
lived in Liberty Township since 1994. They have two grown daughters,
Paige and Jess, and two grandchildren.
Mark brings 27 years
of business, financial and computer experience to the Liberty Township
Fiscal Officer position. He is pleased to serve the residents and
pledges to see that the township's money goes where it is treated best.
